Overview of Information We Process

NexShot is designed to be minimal in data collection. We collect two categories of information:

Non-Personal Data — anonymous technical information that cannot identify you individually, such as device type, operating system version, session duration, and app performance metrics.

How We Collect Information

Automatically — We use SDKs and similar tracking technologies to collect certain information automatically when you use NexShot, such as crash reports, performance data, and anonymous usage statistics.

Voluntarily provided by you — We collect information you choose to share, such as when you contact us for support or submit an inquiry. If you do not provide required information, certain features or support services may be unavailable.

03

Camera & Device Permissions

NexShot requires access to your device's camera to deliver its core functionality. Here is exactly how permissions are used:

📷 Camera Access Required
NexShot uses your device camera exclusively to provide live preview, instant photo capture, digital zoom during preview, and photo format selection (HEIC or JPEG). Photos are saved directly to your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
🔔 Push Notifications Optional
We may store a Firebase Cloud Messaging token to send you optional push notifications. To stop notifications, disable them in your device's Settings or uninstall the App. This token is non-personally identifiable.
Important: NexShot operates using only the native camera capabilities provided by iOS. The App does not enhance, extend, or modify the hardware performance of your device's camera. Features such as digital zoom use the device's built-in capabilities and image quality may vary at higher zoom levels depending on your device.
04

Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With your consent — upon your explicit permission. Shared data is then subject to the third party's own privacy practices.
  • Policy enforcement — to enforce our agreements, defend against legal claims, or detect / prevent illegal activities and security threats.
  • Law enforcement — only as required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Corporate transactions — with affiliated or acquiring companies in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. The acquirer assumes the obligations of this Policy.
  • Service providers — with processors (servers, payment, advertising, analytics) who are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose beyond the services they provide us.
05
